Where to get a tattoo in Thailand?
Thailand is one of the must-come countries and it's certainly known for many things such as food, ocean, Muay Thai, big smile and yes..tattoo. If you’re about to travel in Thailand, top 3 destinations that you will probably visit are Bangkok, one of the southern islands and Chiang Mai. And sure thing, there 3 are all stacked with many great tattoo studios. Ideally, you might want to get a tattoo at last, so there will be worry-free about your fresh tattoo while you’re traveling. But sometimes, some tattoo studios or tattoo artists’ styles could really catch your eyes during your trip, and you simply can’t let it go.
Let me walk you through the 3 cities a bit more then, to see what those 3 cities offer differently.
Bangkok
Since you will most likely land in and fly out from Bangkok (the biggest airport in Thailand is here), getting a tattoo in Bangkok sounds reasonable. People say you can find anything you want in Bangkok!! Well, yes….including tattoo. You will easily find many great tattoo studios pinned all around the city especially in locations which are close to BTS and MRT train stations. You sure will also find pretty much every tattoo styles imaginably processed by great tattoo artists over there. Bangkok is a really big city though. It's great if you like enjoying city life and get a tattoo along the process. But if you’re not a fan of big cities, how about some islands?
Southern Islands
Apart from street food and kind people. Thailand is also definitely known for beaches and ocean. There are lots of beautiful islands that will mark your Thailand trip in Hall of fame. Phuket is at the top of the list when it comes to an island topic. And you bet, many great tattoo studios will line up for you to choose. Well, but if you love green and chill vibe?
Chiang Mai
If your favorite thing is sipping coffee and just chill, definitely come to Chiang Mai. It’s a small lovely city that has many cafes to hop in and many natural places to visit by. And sure enough that you will spot many tattoo studios along your way. A lot of them are in the old city and night bazaar area which are great places when it comes to exploring Chiang Mai city. Lots of natural places will be found just a bit outside of the city which there are lots of activities for you to enjoy. Spending time with elephants is one of the top lists, if not the top that people come to Chiang Mai for. So Chiang Mai is definitely the place that you can go relax in nature and come back in the city, have a cup of coffee and get a tattoo, what a way, eh!?

1. Why you have a tattoo studio in the mountains Nate? I mean tattoo studios are supposed to be located where the most traffic is, no?
I guess I have forgot to read a Tattoo business 101 before I opened my studio 😂. I love nature and simple lifestyle though. I had my vision since I was young that one day, doesn’t matter what I do, I will find the way to go back and do it in nature….and here I am ✌️😊🧡
Being in a city was too overwhelming for me I guess, and felt it's no difference than working an office job. But now Im good, having my tattoo studio up here allows me to have more time focusing on my art and other projects. So instead of getting to overwhelmed by numbers of customers, I'd rather spend time crafting something really special for each person 💚💯

Hmm, many of them are really good actually. But yet, let me break down a bit of what you'll be presented differently here.
First, we welcome you as our friend
Our tattoo studio is in the mountains because we love nature and simple life. Yes..it's quite far from the city but we love to have everyone as close as our friend. Getting pain from a tattoo should be stressful enough, so let's have good vibe around it as much as we can.
I craft my own tattoo style
While Im happy to hear any tattoo ideas/styles you have in mind, I also have my own unique tattoo style that I love to present it to you. It’s ethereal tattoo. They are blackwork nature and animal tattoos that “flow”. The tattoos are soft and elegant from the flow but they also look mysterious in the same time.
A place for your first tattoo
Even though coming to Baan Khagee Tattoo is quite a journey from Chiang Mai city, lots of my customers have come here to get their first tattoo. It was totally unexpected since I mean...you're getting a first tattoo but you choose to get it on the mountains?
